As demand for alternative energy sources increases, 70 NYC teens will demonstrate to shoppers and visitors the power of renewable energy with pizza-box solar oven cooking demos, green home designs and sustainable streetscape models at GrowNYC’s bustling Union Square Greenmarket. Guest judges R. David Gibbs, a green engineer and designer and Ante Vulin of Association for Energy Affordability will rate projects on construction quality, design features, and functionality.
