The NY Post originally described Marc Wolf’s award winning play as “a show as timely as today’s headlines.” This moving performance is distilled from over 150 interviews with straight, gay and lesbian military personnel, in addition to civil rights lawyers, federal judges, professors, politicians and even Professor Charles Moskos, the author of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. With original direction by Joe Mantello, Another American: Asking and Telling takes the audience on a national tour of sexual politics, the American military, sanctioned discrimination, and its human fallout. A portion of the proceeds will benefit various charitable organizations dedicated to LGBT rights.
