Michael Fahres' Cetecea creates a hypnotic, multilayered ocean of sound, merging dolphin sounds recorded at the dolphinarium in Duisburg, Germany, with the rhythms of six Senegalese percussionists. Following the concert, a film that documents the creation of this work will be screened.
Phill Niblock and Katherine Liberovskaya's Sound Delta +, a live audio/video performance created during the European Sound Delta project — a nomadic art residency in which they participated during the summer of 2008.
