Take an imaginary trip as you view Home Movies of American Jewish Visitors to 1930s Poland from the collection of the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. Compiled and edited for this exhibition, they give a - literally - moving image of the places and faces once familiar to the American visitors in their old home. Write a postcard commenting on a still from the footage to someone with whom you would like to share your visit.
Help keep a famous JewishPolish folk art alive as you learn to a create multi-colored traditional paper cut with Jewish designs. For more experienced cutters (ages 12 and up), paper-cutting blades and stencils will be on hand.
