This young virtuoso and one of Britain’s most exciting new artists became the first ever Briton to be crowned “Female Artist of the Year” at the 2009 Classical BRITs. Alison Balsom makes her Peoples’ Symphony Concerts debut in a program including works by Chopin, De Falla and Gershwin.
