Description:
Louis Rosen is a songwriter, recording artist, author, teacher, and Guggenheim Fellow in Music Composition. Among his devoted students of jazz was the late Heather Monroe, former chair of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Retired Professionals (IRP). Rosen delivers this lecture/performance on jazz history as the initial program in memory of this remarkable and dedicated leader and student of the IRP.
