Now on View: Barcelo's Gran Elefandret and Rob Pruitt’s Andy Monument
Gran Elefandret is the second world class public art installation to grace Union Square and will be on view at the Union Square Triangle through May 2012. The piece is commissioned by Marlborough Gallery and created by renowned artist Miquel Barceló. The Andy Monument, a 10-foot-tall chrome-plated statue of Andy Warhol, is still on view on the pedestrian plazas located at the intersection of Broadway and 17th Street north of the Park.
