Marketing Services for Our Businesses
At USP, we’re not shy about telling the world about our district’s fantastic array of unique businesses. We are here to highlight your business and its great contributions to our neighborhood. Each year, we print and distribute thousands of neighborhood maps, district deals, and other materials to highlight your services to the neighborhood’s growing number of residents, visitors, workers, and friends. Additionally, we regularly feature our partners in special stories on the Union Square Blog, our monthly eNewsletter, and our various social media outlets. Many of these services are offered completely free. Don’t let your business miss out on our marketing opportunities, email us to make sure your business is featured.

Interested in gaining even more visibility in the neighborhood? Check out our Sponsorship Guide for a list of programs that will turn your brand into a real community asset.

Capital Access Loan Guarantee Program
Working with our partners in government, USP can connect your business with the City’s Capital Access Loan Guarantee Program that gives small business owners a method to obtain up to a 40% guarantee for qualified loans and lines of credit up to $250,000.

NYC CoolRoofs
NYC CoolRoofs, an initiative of NYC Service and the NYC Department of Buildings, encourages building owners to cool their rooftops with a white reflective coating that reduces energy consumption, cooling costs and carbon emissions. To help our businesses, USP is offering a grant to cover a portion of the material expenses.

For more information on the program and how to participate, visit nyc.gov/coolroofs or email us.

DOT’s Off-Hour Delivery Program
Traffic congestion in New York is expensive. Daytime deliveries not only add costs to your business, but also contribute to the City’s traffic congestion. To help you save money, NYCDOT is expanding their popular Off-Hour Delivery Program. If your business would like to participate, visit DOT’s Off-Hour Delivery website, or email us.

Government Resources
We’re here to help your business thrive. In order to assist your business with its goals, UPS works closely with the New York City Department of Small Business Services (NYC SBS).
