Find Freebies from Cava Grill, Whole Foods, Pret a Manger and The Pokéspot in Your Swag Bag

One of our favorite parts of Union Square Sweat Fest is the opportunity to try new things, and new food! While you sweat it out this week, experience some of Union Square's healthy eateries.

Cava Grill | Started by three childhood friends, Cava Grill celebrates the flavors of their families’ traditional Greek and Mediterranean cooking in a casual modern setting. They believe that while others are content to feed their faces, Cava customers desire food that feeds the spirit. Our spirits are especially into the custom Greens + Grains bowl with seasonal roasted veggies.

“Do you even lift, bruh?” 🤔🤔🤔 “ … do Greens + Grains count?” 💪😏

Union Square Greenmarket | The world-famous Union Square Greenmarket began with just a few farmers in 1976, has grown exponentially; in peak season 140 regional farmers, fishers, and bakers sell their products to a dedicated legion of city dwellers. We are amazed 4 days a week by the variety that’s available, even in the depths of February. Find fresh greens, seafood, eggs, dairy, baked goods and more!

Clams, oysters, and mussels! Just add lots and lots of butter, garlic, white wine, and pasta, then dinner is served! #emdailypic

MAKE Sandwich | A new made-to-order sandwich shop offering modern interpretations of classic sandwiches using fresh, made from scratch and gourmet ingredients, MAKE Sandwich is our newest fast casual obsession. Developed by Melt Shop founder Spencer Rubin, in partnership with Aurify Brands, MAKE Sandwich is a result of the partners’ ongoing love of all things sandwiches.

The Pokéspot | A USP lunch favorite, try anything from a snow crab burrito with avocado to topping zucchini noodles with shrimp and special Pokéspot Sauce. Nothing is a bad choice! By mixing traditionally styled poké with a modern NYC attitude, the lunch and dinner spot is bringing the feeling of a Hawaiian Luau close to home.

Pret a Manger | In 1986, Pret opened the doors of its very first shop, a shop with a mission: to create, handmade, natural food, avoiding the obscure chemicals, additives and preservatives common to so much of the ‘prepared’ and ‘fast’ food on the market today. You won’t find ‘sell-by’ dates on their fresh sandwiches and salads. Their milk and coffee is 100% organic.

Whole Foods | Whole Foods USQ is a proud part of the Union Square community. The full service grocery store consistently sells the highest quality products they can source at the most competitive prices possible. Many of their products are sourced locally from New York and New Jersey farms and food artisans. Check out their extensive prepared foods section and take a seat in the upstairs café area to get a great view of Union Square.
