On Monday, April 3rd, take the GreeNYC pledge at the market and you'll receive a free mug, bottle or bag to get you started.
On Saturdays April 8th and April 15th return your clean/dry and non-biodegradable/compostable plastic bags at the Union Square Greenmarket and receive 5 cents per bag after participating in a short survey about recycling habits.
Reusable bags are available for purchase at the Greenmarket and online here.
