Gandhi's statue along Union Square East offers to speak in English or Hindi

If you had the chance to talk to any historical figure, who would it be? Would it be our first president, George Washington? Maybe it would be civil rights leader Mahatma Gandhi. Well, thanks to the Talking Statues project now live in New York, you can hear from both.

Step 1: In Union Square Park, find the George Washington statue on the center of the South Plaza and the Gandhi statue in the garden on Union Square East between 14th & 15th.

Step 2: Find the blue sign to begin. Scan the bar code or enter the link to receive your phone call from the statues.

Step 3: Share your experience with @TalkingStatues and @UnionSquareNY.  (More on Talking Statues here.)
