innisfree, the #1 Beauty Brand in Korea, is opening its first United States location in Union Square at 862 Broadway (between 17th and 18th Streets) on September 15th.

Known for its innovative formulas and responsible green practices, innisfree skin care products are formulated with an average of 80% naturally derived ingredients responsibly sourced from the pure and protected Korean island of Jeju, products ranging in price from $1.80 - $68.00.

The store features two levels: the main floor will feature a 21-foot-tall living green wall, a Mask Bar, and customizable My Palette and My Compact stations for color products; the private mezzanine level will house make-up artist masterclasses, K-beauty skincare training sessions and green living classes.

With its venture stateside, innisfree is offering 150 new exclusive products specifically created for the US consumer including expanded shade range in color cosmetics, and multi-tasking skincare products.

"While our new [US] e-commerce site will serve the entire country, we will focus the next 18 months on establishing our store presence in New York City, with ambitious expansion plans for the rest of the country to follow," said Julien Bouzitat, Vice President and General Manager of innisfree.

Union Square has grown to be a beauty hub with Red Door Spa, Sephora, Blue Mercury, MAC Cosmetics, Fresh Beauty, NYX Cosmetics, Lush and Nature's Bounty just steps from the Square.
