Union Square Hospitality Group Grows HQ in Union Square
The Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), led by restaurateur and Union Square fixture Danny Meyer, will be moving to a new home in Union Square. USHG's new 15,000 square-foot office will be at 853 Broadway, located on the corner of East 14th Street, just a few blocks away from their longstanding space on Union Square East. For more details on the move, check out The Real Deal's coverage here.
841-853 Broadway, owned and managed by the Feil Organization, has undergone major renovations in the last few years, signing ground-floor tenants like MAC Cosmetics, Maison Kayser, and most notably, Capital One's New York City flagship bank that includes a full-service coffee shop by Peet's and ample community space. USHG is joining office tenants True[X], a 21st Century Fox-owned business, Make Up Forever, Media IQ Digital and more.
Behind some of our neighborhood's - and the city’s - most successful restaurants and eateries, including Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, Daily Provisions, and more, USHG is known for their commitment to outstanding food served with hospitality. From its humble beginnings with Union Square Cafe on 16th Street, USHG has expanded over the years with operations across New York, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C., not to mention Meyer's creation of the fast casual burger chain Shake Shack. The presence of the USHG headquarters and its award-winning restaurants in Union Square have been integral in shaping the neighborhood's past successes, and continues to be a driving factor contributing to its growth.
Both organizations, USHG and the Feil Organization, serve on the Union Square Partnership Board of Directors and are part of a long list of USP partners who donate both their time and funds to support our vital work throughout the Union Square-14th Street district.
