Union Square Park's historic Pavilion is now home to Bocce Union Square - a vibrant neighborhood gathering place serving up Italian cuisine. Pizza, shareable plates, spritzes, and bocce - what more could you want in a summer hang-out?

Under managing partner Jason Leeds, the pavilion space has undergone a top-to-bottom redesign and is now welcoming an entirely new team of hospitality professionals to the park. This al fresco eatery serves crazy-good 'za from executive chef Tim Meyers and pizza consultant Anthony Falco, both vets from the famed Roberta's Pizza.  Inspired by the restaurant's proximity to the Union Square Greenmarket, Meyers' menu highlights the local purveyors in seasonally-inspired pizzas and shareable plates.  Sip on the restaurant's premier drink - a bright, herbaceous Italian Sprtiz - at the outdoor bar while playing a game on the robustly adorable bocce court.

Bocce Union Square supports the Greenmarket and Union Square Park through frequent fundraisers, community gatherings, and festive events. Notably, the neighborhood is invited to come to a "Mindful Monday" yoga and meditation series hosted within the pavilion by a local yoga studio partner each week. The restaurant strives to be an excellent neighbor, Union Square’s backyard hangout spot, and the go-to destination for the season.
