Summer in the Square may be over but our partners from this past season have programs and activities all year long throughout the neighborhood.  Discover your favorite activities from summer in their year-round home, plus additional businesses offering events and activities year round. 

KIDS ACTIVITIES

 

14th Street Y

From flag football to ballet, the 14th Street Y offers Youth Sports Leagues all year round. Don't forget to browse their after school programs, holiday camps, teen initiatives, and uniquely designed programming for children with special needs. Stop in at 344 East 14th Street to take part in their year-round programming.

Karma Kids Yoga

If your little ones loved playing yoga at storytime yoga, head over to the Karma Kids studio on West 23rd Street for more interactive classes and activities for the whole family.

Super Soccer Stars

Want to continue improving your soccer skills throughout the school year to get ready for Summer in the Square 2019? Super Soccer Stars offers classes, camps and more for future soccer stars across the city. 

Pop Fit Kids

Gazillion Bubble Show

If the bubble garden was the highlight of your #USQSummer, take a trip to the Gazillion Bubble Show and watch bubble experts put on a performance you won't forget. 

Union Square Play

As the weather gets cooler, it's time to find a place to play thats nice and warm. Union Square Play is a new addition to the neighborhood, offering a selection of classes and reserved open play. Bring the kids by for playtime at 36 East 18th Street.

Barnes & Noble + Strand Books

If your kids couldn't wait for story time in the park, keep your eyes on Barnes and Noble Union Square and The Strand for book-related events in the neighborhood. Find both stores' flagship locations at 33 East 17th Street and 828 Broadway, respectively.

Good News! Tai Chi with this summer's inspiring instructor, Roberto, continues all year round at the 14 Street Y. Come in to 344 East 14th Street to take advantage of this meditative practice as the fall season is approaching.

New York Health and Racquet Club

Did you discover your favorite workout teachers at our evening fitness classes on the North Plaza? Don't worry, you don't have to say goodbye! New York Health and Racquet Club has three locations in the area: 13th Street21st Street, and Cooper Square!

Dance cardio with Mitchell Wayne, Zumba with Ebony Fowler, yoga with Derric Harris, and all the other NYHRC greats aren't going anywhere. Sign up for a free day pass or a year-long membership to gain access to classes, a pool, and even the NYHRC yacht.

Yoga Vida

If you had a blast jamming out to the Dueling DJS, then take a peek at the events hosted by the W New York - Union Square. Pop in to the hotel at 201 Park Avenue South to find other activities and things to do around Union Square.

Peridance Capezio Center

Were you captivated by the amazing dueling dance performance by Peridance Capezio Center? Attend their seasonal dance showcases or stop into their dance center at 126 East 13th Street to try out a class in ballet, hip-hop, salsa, African, or contemporary dance.

Gibney Dance Choreographic Center
