There’s only one way to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Union Square Sweat Fest, and that’s with a SWEATacular experience. You may be asking, what makes SWEATacular so, well, SWEATacular? Combining the best of the neighborhood’s fitness and wellness brands, experience why Union Square is at the core of Manhattan’s fitness scene.

We’re bringing the best to warm up for a week of killer work outs around Union Square. You may know Andia Winslow as one SELF’s 28 Black Fitness Pros You Should Be Following on Instagram, or from her creative work outs from the subway station to the laundromat, or maybe you’ve taken her class at Chelsea Piers Fitness or Mile High Run Club. Now’s your chance to meet our favorite down-to-earth fitness coach at Union Square Sweat Fest’s 5th anniversary opening event with a SWEATacular workout.

 

LEARN WORKOUTS YOU CAN REPEAT AT HOME

Let’s face it - it’s tough finding time in Manhattan to get your workout in. We’re going to learn some SWEATacular routines that require zero pieces of equipment - perfect for replicating at home, or at the park this summer. The workout is designed to build stamina while toning and strengthening muscles.

THE WORKOUT

SWEATacular will begin with an athletic inspired sports style warm up with class goers jogging around the perimeter of the room, and learning dynamic stretching drills. The warm-up will be followed by a series of body weight exercises including but it limited to: Walking Lunges, Push-Ups, Lateral Skaters, Frog Jumps, Running Drills, and Core Moves.

THE WELLNESS

Fitness is only part of the wellness routine - that’s why at SWEATacular the team behind Ling Skincare is joining us to perform demonstrations of their Instant Lift Bar and Body CPR Cupping Therapy for attendees.
